Preschool

The preschool program at our school focuses on developing socialization skills, verbal communication skills, and fine and large motor skills in young children. The program offers a variety of activities including structured play, religion, thematic activities, center time, music, foreign language, and art to promote a well-rounded early childhood education experience. In addition to academics, our program also focuses on instilling Christian values and Catholic practices, inspiring empathy, compassion, and kindness in our students. Our preschool students engage in activities with our older students, giving them the opportunity to learn from and emulate their peers.

PreK/Kindergarten

Our PreK and Kindergarten program is designed to provide a comprehensive educational experience for our young students. The program incorporates the Superkids reading program, which uses research and evidence-based practices that support the Science of Reading, ensuring that students develop strong literacy skills from an early age. In addition to academics, our program also focuses on instilling Christian values and Catholic practices, inspiring empathy, compassion, and kindness in our students. Through a combination of verbal and written communication skills, number awareness, beginning math, socialization skills, school readiness skills, and fine and large muscle skills, our students will be prepared for success in elementary school. We also offer enrichment classes in art, PE, foreign language, and music, allowing students to explore their interests and talents beyond the traditional classroom setting. Through thematic unit instruction, students will have the opportunity to explore the world around them and gain a deeper understanding of the subjects they are learning.

First and Second Grade

Our first and second grade program is designed to provide a comprehensive and engaging learning experience for students. The Superkids reading program utilizes research and evidence-based practices that support the Science of Reading, ensuring that students develop strong literacy skills from an early age. The Everyday Mathematics curriculum emphasizes the use of real-life examples to introduce key mathematical concepts, frequent practice to enhance mastery and quick recall, and uses multiple methods and problem-solving strategies to foster true proficiency and accommodate different learning styles. In addition, the Nancy Larson Science curriculum incorporates hands-on learning opportunities that challenge students and spark their curiosity about the world around them.  In addition to academics, our program also focuses on instilling Christian values and Catholic practices, inspiring empathy, compassion, and kindness in our students. Enrichment classes such as art, PE, foreign language, and music round out the program, providing students with a well-rounded education that nurtures their creativity and physical well-being.
